Event Details

The Irish Chamber of Commerce Singapore and The Ireland Funds Singapore Young Leaders are proud to present our first joint webinar with our Chamber Patron and Ambassador of Ireland to Singapore, H.E. Pat Bourne giving the opening address:

'Philanthropy - Empowering the Next Generation of Giving'

Living in Singapore, we are always surrounded by the finer things in life and the necessity to provide charitable support may not always be so apparent from the outset.

We cordially invite you to join us for this engaging panel discussion with Louise Broderick, Chairperson of The Ireland Funds Singapore Young Leaders as moderator and four inspirational speakers:

These speakers all provide support and services to those in need in Singapore and will offer interesting insights on the impact, importance and different ways of giving, the benefits it can bring both professionally and personally and also share with you on how you can support those in need in Singapore.

The Ireland Funds Singapore Young Leaders was established in July 2020 and aims to cultivate an emerging generation of philanthropists, connecting Singapore and Irish communities, and inspiring positive change through support for The Ireland Funds Singapore beneficiaries.

This year, the Young Leaders are raising funds to support a groundbreaking project by EQUAL, an award-winning animal assisted intervention centre that develops life skills in youth, people with special needs, families, and elderly with dementia.

The Singapore Young Leaders Network currently has 25 members (with growing membership) and have managed to raise half of the fundraising target of SG$10K but we still need your support.

ALL MONIES COLLECTED THROUGH TICKET SALES WILL BE DONATED TO SUPPORT THE CHARITY EQUAL

We look forward to you joining us on April 22nd at 5pm - 6pm SGT

How to donate?

This year, the Young Leaders are raising monies to support a ground-breaking project by EQUAL (www.equal.org.sg), an award-winning animal-assisted intervention centre that develops life skills in youth, people with special needs, families, and elderly with dementia.

The project will see rescued therapy horses becoming a familiar sight in a school for children with special needs, where animal-assisted intervention will be integrated into their special needs curriculum for the first time in Singapore. Your donation will support the purchase of a customised canopy tent for the programme, providing shelter from the heat and rain for the children as they experience the joy of riding horses in a comfortable setting whilst developing their social-emotional skills. Thanks for your support for this wonderful project!
