We are delighted to welcome members of the Irish Chamber of Commerce Singapore to our Annual General Meeting where we look forward to a review of what's been happening over the last 12 months, what's to come, an update from the Government agencies and to vote in our new board members.

Our Patron, H.E. Sarah McGrath, Ambassador of Ireland to Singapore will be our guest of honour to give the opening address and is very kindly hosting our Annual General Meeting at the Irish Residence.

Board nominations

We welcome members who have an interest, the time and energy to serve on the board.

Proxy Voting

Any member who is unable to attend, kindly complete and send your Proxy Form to Benita Meagher, Executive Director by the 4th October 2021. The proxy form is available to download in the 'Documents' tab.

Should a member wish to have a resolution raised at the meeting, we ask that you email the Executive Director before the 15th September 2022.

Ms Sarah McGrath is a career diplomat with over 20 years’ experience in the Irish foreign service. Immediately prior to her appointment as Ambassador of Ireland to Singapore, she served as Director for UN and International Financial Institutions in the Development Cooperation and Africa Division of the Department’s headquarters in Dublin. A significant portion of Ambassador McGrath’s career has been spent working on the Northern Ireland peace process, most recently as Political and Reconciliation Director from 2015- 2018.
She has served overseas at the Permanent Mission of Ireland to the United Nations in New York and the Embassy of Ireland to Germany in Berlin and has been the Director of the Department’s Strategy and Performance Unit.
Ambassador McGrath is from County Clare in the mid-west of Ireland and graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College Cork in 2001. She is an alumnus of the US State Department International Visitor Leadership Programme (2019) and has a strong interest in peace-building, gender equality, economic development and the role of small states in shaping the multilateral system.

Kate arrived to the Lion City in 2014 moving from Paris to complete a Masters in International Management with French and Italian, at HEC Paris business school, followed by 5 years working at the New York Stock Exchange. She is Vice President of the Irish Chamber of Commerce Singapore since 2017 and works in Investment Banking for J.P. Morgan. At J.P. Morgan she works for the Global Clearing business focusing on new product development of futures and options and is co-chair for internal women’s network called Women on the Move comprised of 1000 members. Prior to moving to Singapore, Kate has also lived in the US and Milan. She holds a CEMS ( Community of European Management Schools ) Masters degree in International Management from Michael Smurfit Business School and HEC Paris alongside a BComm International undergraduate degree from University College Dublin and Bocconi University, Milan. She is passionate about business and connecting the global Irish business community and friends of Ireland.
