Event Details

Join us on the 6th of December at 8.15 a.m. for the Irish Chamber of Commerce Singapore's December First Friday Breakfast where our 'Spotlight series' will be with The Ireland Funds Singapore.

Pamela Spreckley, Executive Director of The Ireland Funds Singapore (TIFS), will introduce Boys' Town, one of their beneficiary charities in Singapore. We will hear from Dr. Roland Yeow, Executive Director of Boys' Town, a charity founded by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, which has long provided crucial support to vulnerable young people in Singapore, supporting children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds and those at risk.

As a former resident of Boys' Town himself, Roland brings a unique personal perspective to his role. He will share firsthand insights into the impactful work of the organisation and their key programmes, including adventure therapy and service initiatives in Ireland and Singapore and youth outreach supported by TIFS, as well as other engagement opportunities with the Irish community in Singapore.

Our regular breakfast series provides a relaxed environment to build new connections over light refreshments. Not a fan of networking but want to meet new people? Not a problem! Members can invite one new guest to attend. We'll also make sure someone from the Chamber is on hand to make some introductions.

We'd love to hear from you so drop us a line to support@irishchamber.org.sg.
