The theme for International Women's Day (IWD) 2025 is "Accelerate Action". The theme emphasises the need to take action to address gender inequality and break down barriers that prevent women from reaching their full potential.

Why "Accelerate Action"?

• The theme highlights the urgency of taking faster and more effective steps toward gender equality.
• The World Economic Forum estimates that it will take until 2158 to achieve full gender parity at the current rate of progress.

What does "Accelerate Action" mean?

• It's a call to individuals, organisations, and communities to take action to address gender inequality.
• It's a call to increase momentum and break down obstacles that prevent women from reaching their full potential.

Besides the opportunity to network with women from other chambers, we will have interactive discussions on how each of us can be involved in accelerating gender equality on a personal and/or professional level.
