Join us on Friday, 1st of April from 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. for our First Friday Breakfast in the central business district. Our 'Spotlight series' this month will be with Chris Johnston from Kingspan Insulation who will be giving a talk on the topic of energy efficiency and sustainability and how recent geopolitical events are beginning to put pressure on the built environment to address these very important topics and what the construction industry can do about this.
Chris will give some real-life examples on how Kingspan are leading the way through different initiatives like 'Planet Passionate' which is Kingspan's ambitious 10-year global sustainability programme which aims to impact three big global issues:
- Climate change
- Protection of our natural world
Kingspan are setting themselves challenging targets in the areas of energy, carbon, circularity, and water, and aim to make significant advances in the sustainability of both their business operations and their products.
We look forward to seeing you and hope that this talk can help to inspire other businesses developing across the region to do so in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way. The Kingspan team are available to provide expert support and services to help with this.
