In the changed post COVID-19 business landscape, the global aircraft leasing sector is once again booming. In 1970, the total aircraft in use that were leased was at only half of one percent - today over fifty percent of all commercial aircrafts are leased and the Asia Pacific region is expected to be the fastest-growing market for aircraft leasing in the coming years. 

Join us on Friday, 9th June at 8.30 a.m. in the central business district for this month's Friday Breakfast where our 'Spotlight series' this month will be with Avolon, who is one of the most prominent players in the aircraft leasing industry. Our speaker, Stephen Mc Donnell, Head of Technical Transactions Asia Pacific & Middle East for Avolon will share with us an introduction to commercial aircraft leasing, with a focus on the technical function which he leads from Avolon's Singapore base. 

Avolon​ is one of the world's largest aviation leasing companies, with a fleet of 830 owned, managed and committed aircraft operated by 147 customers in 73 countries. It opened an office in Singapore in 2012 and it has expanded into a key hub for the company's operations in Asia-Pacific. Avolon has a team of 35 staff located across Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and Shanghai servicing 65 different airline customers in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

Our regular breakfast series provides a relaxed environment to build new connections over light refreshments. Not a fan of networking but want to meet new people?
